Debutant at the 30th edition of the SMM in Hamburg

At the SMM exhibition in Hamburg that was held from Sept. 6 - 9, 2022, MSA-Service debuted with its own booth.

Although it was the first time MSA-Service participated in the SMM, existing customers and relations were able to find their way to the booth very well. In addition, many new contacts were also made.

Participation in the NL pavilion is also looked back on positively. Everything was well taken care of so that attention could be given to the most important matters. And that was talking about the opportunities and possibilities offered by MSA-Service. 

During the fair the spotlights were on the following four products;

• VisuDREDGE a complete dredging visualization and control system for large and small vessels.
• ECS (Engine Control System). This universal system is easy to connect to an engine and replaces the existing system. So that the engine system is up to date again and unnecessary engine failures and costs can be avoided.
• Multiped is a data dashboard that collects and reports data. Advantages are; real time data acquisition, fleet insight, visualization of fuel efficiency, real time monitoring, predictive analysis and analysis of structural distortion.
• Subsea sensors; we have a whole range of measurement instrumentation, think depth, length, angle and pressure sensors. All in a robust housing from our own production.

The common denominator these systems have is that they are plug and play. One of the cost-saving advantages to this is that they can be installed by the customer himself or local companies. As a result, optimizing the ship does not have to cost capital.

In addition to the many exhibitors, many visitors also knew how to find the SMM. The visitor counter hit 40,000, and the countries of origin 100. One of the goals of this SMM was to stimulate the maritime transition. With so many people together, that must be another step in the right direction.
