MSA-Service participates in the 5th edition
On June 5, 2024, the Maritime Tech Platform (MTP) will organize the fifth edition of the Maritime Student Challenge at the Sustainability Factory in Dordrecht. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for our network of companies to connect with young, talented students and interest them in a future in the maritime sector.
This year, the Maritime Student Challenge is specifically aimed at second- and third-year students who are following a technical MBO course at STC or Da Vinci College. During this event, students will work on current, technical and practical issues brought in by various companies.
MSA-Service has signed up as a Challenger and will present an issue within the theme of robotization at sea. This theme fits perfectly with our vision of the future of the maritime industry, in which innovation and automation are central.
During the Maritime Student Challenge, students will work in teams on issues in various areas such as refit alliance, smart industry, robotization at sea, smart shipping/autonomous shipping and the shipyard of the future. A total of eight companies will present challenges that as many as 120 students from STC and Da Vinci College will consider.
The event provides an informal setting in which students can learn about the maritime industry and innovative techniques. In addition, they will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and find out about an internship or future employer. The most innovative, exceptional and well presented solutions will be rewarded with fun prizes.
We look forward to participating in the Maritime Student Challenge and are convinced that this event will contribute to attracting new talents to the maritime sector.
